TCEC is releasing a new comprehensive evaluation guide that will serve as the primary reference on evaluation for tobacco control program evaluators, project staff and their subcontractors, CTCP, and TCEC.  Designed to answer the evaluation questions of newbies and veterans alike, the guide will:

• Describe how evaluation works within tobacco control
• Explain how to put together a cohesive evaluation plan
• What level of detail to include in activity summaries, progress reports and end-of-contract evaluation reports
• How to get the most utility out of data collection activities like media activity records
• Set expectations for evaluation utility, efficacy, and rigor
