Resources for Report Writing

Need help writing your Final Evaluation Reports? Not sure how to get started? Don't worry! TCEC has a wealth of resources available for report writing.

How to get started

Writing a report that covers many years of work can feel overwhelming! That's why TCEC created the FER Pre-Writing Workbook PDF to help you and your team organize and clarify what you want to include in the report. (If you prefer to outline your report in a Word document, you can also use our Pre-Writing Worksheet, which contains the same instructions.)

Be sure to also check out our webinar, "Ready, Set, FER! Steps to Take Now for Evaluation Reporting" for more guidance on getting started with your reporting process.

Detailed instructions

We recommend that you take some time to read the Tell Your Story guidelines, a comprehensive document on FERs that covers every section of the report.

The Final Evaluation Reports page on the TCEC website also has deep dives into different sections of the FER, including instructions for submitting your reports and data visualization templates!

Sample reports

Want to see what a high-quality report looks like? The Tell Your Story guidelines also contain a sample FER and BER to provide concrete examples of useful evaluation reports.

You can also search the Rover Library for examples of past FERs. Note: You will need an OTIS login to access the Rover Library.
