It’s the end of an era at the Tobacco Control Evaluation Center. Long-time evaluation associate and former TCEC project director Jeanette Treiber has retired from her post to head for greener pastures! She won’t have to go far either—just right outside her door to the seven-acre Rio Linda farm she and her partner Deno have created.

The TCEC team extends its warmest wishes to Diana Cassady, DrPH, as she begins her retirement. Dr. Cassady has been the Principal Investigator of TCEC since 2007, and we owe her an enormous debt of gratitude for her leadership. We will miss her, and we wish her the best!

On Thursday, June 25, TCEC facilitated the second of two group TA sessions with our partners around the state to discuss the challenges and resources for conducting evaluation activities during the shelter in place and COVID-19 environment.  Together we shared some tips and support to help get through this together.
