Get help with your FERs and BERs!
We've got exciting news for all you FER and BER authors out there!
The TCEC team is now able to review and provide feedback on how to improve your FERs and BERs before you submit them. Instead of getting comments and scores months later, we want you to be able to get guidance and support to improve your reports now. Talk about making evaluation useful!
UPDATE: meetings are now optional. You can choose to receive feedback via email only or if you would like the option to meet via Zoom to better understand our feedback. If you want to meet, we'll coordinate via email to set your meeting time(s).
By participating in an evaluation report review, all authors and reviewers agree to:
- use the guidelines, scoring rubric, and other resources based on Tell Your Story: Guidelines for Preparing Useful Evaluation Reports
- be open to feedback and willing to improve the report
- ask for clarification and assume best intentions
- be respectful at all time
To have TCEC review your evaluation reports:
First, sign up for an Evaluation Report Review date.
A TCEC team member will contact you to confirm your chosen date and number of reports you want us to review.
Then, remember to send us your draft FERs or BERs at least 2 days before your chosen review date. (It doesn't have to be the whole report; you can send us sections and specific questions as well.)
We'll review your drafts send you preliminary scores and feedback on how to improve your reports according to the reporting guidelines. If you've chosen to discuss the feedback, we'll meet with you at the agreed upon time(s).
There are nine spots each week with three slots per day every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from mid-April to the end of June.
Just added: July review dates for LLAs and others with reports due in July.
You can also contact your favorite evaluation associate to ensure you pick a timeslot with them. Just keep in mind that the earlier you sign up, the better chance you have at getting your preferred Evaluation Report Review meeting date. Starting early is one of the best things you can do to make the whole process easier.
Stay tuned for more exciting improvements and support coming your way!
Happy writing!
